Munger Trail, Duluth to Carlton
This may be the most scenic portion of the Munger Trial. Places to park include behind the Willard Munger Inn, Riverside Drive, Beck's Road intersection and the city park in Carlton. Munger Trail, Carlton to Barnum This trail section is relatively flat, has smooth asphalt and little traffic. Places to park include the city park in Carlton, the Douglas Road intersection, under the I-35 overpass and at Barnum. From Barnum the trail continues south to Hinckley. Stebner Road Stebner Road is the access road to the Northwest Airlines Maintenance Facility. Stebner Road is located about 1 mile west of the Rice Lake Road (Hwy 4) and Martin Road intersection, off Martin Road. Stebner is 1.25 miles long, very smooth and has little traffic on it, except during shift change. Old North Shore Highway The old North Shore Highway serves as most of the course for the NorthShore Inline Marathon. One can park most any place between Brighton Beach and Two Harbors. Lakewalk The Lakewalk runs along the Lake Superior shore from the Aerial Lift Bridge to Lemon Drop Hill in east Duluth. Places to park include the Canal Park area, the bottom of 21st Avenue east and just east of Blackwood's on London Road. Park Point Park Point is a term used to describe Minnesota Avenue between the Aerial Lift Bridge and the Sky Harbor Airport at the end of Park Point. One can park most any place along Minnesota Avenue. Millennium Trail The Millennium Trail is located in Superior, Wisconsin. Parking is near the corner of North 28th Street and Wyoming Avenue.
